Twice in 3 days we’ve made our players very happy at our Bad Beat Tables! No wonder our players love this Jackpot!

On Friday afternoon the first Bad Beat Jackpot was hit with ‘KiwiiGreg’ taking home a whopping $137,545.83 after his quad 8’s were beaten by quad 10’s held by ‘Occasio84′. ‘Occasio84′ was smiling too after picking up close to $69,000. The remaining players at the table also took home close to $10, 000 each just for being part of the action.

On Sunday our second Bad Beat Jackpot went off when ‘cougarsofcal’ found himself holding quad 7’s which, fortunately for him, were trumped by ‘lsp123′ quad 9’s. Despite the Bad Beat Jackpot going off just a couple of days before, ‘cougarsofcal’ still walked away from the table with a cool $32,475.67 while ‘lsp123′ won just over $16,000. It was still a sweet deal for the other players at the table who each took home their share of just over $4,000 just for being dealt into the hand.

Check out our specially marked Bad Beat tables today and be the next player to walk away smiling after the worst of the Bad Beats!

Hungarian poker pro Andras Koroknai has been crowned the WPT LA Poker Classic champion. After six days of poker action Andras walked away with the $1.7 million prize.

The final six players out of the 745 participants were: Andras Koroknai, Michael Kamran, Raymond Dolan, Tri Huynh, Gevork Kasabyan and Jean-Claude Moussa. Surprisingly none of the usual suspects such as Duke, Chan or Mortensen were in the running.

Dolan was heads up against Koroknai in the end but Andras had a 13 to 1 chip advantage making the outcome a quick affair. In fact it lasted for just one hand, as Dolan called off his remaining chips with Q-4 and found himself up against Koroknai’s Q-8 of hearts. The action flop came 10-9-4 with two hearts, giving Dolan bottom pair and Koroknai a flush draw. The turn was a seven, giving Koroknai even more outs and raising the tension. The king of hearts hit as the jackpot card on the river and Koroknai took the money and a seat at the WPT World Championship in April.
